Pat Sweeney

Pat has been a part of the Burns Bros team for almost 20 years serving in various roles from the field to office and project management.

Pat is a Partner and the Regional Manager based out of our Potsdam NY office. He started his journey with Burns Bros as a Local 73 apprentice and has never left.  Pat enjoys the diversity that working for Burns Bros provides him, from the piping fields (HVAC, Plumbing, Industrial) to the complexity of the work handled through the millwright division.  Pat has maintained a successful track record with numerous commercial facilities, higher education, and architectural and engineering firms in the region.

Open and honest discussions with project owners, design teams, and construction managers have been a key role in his success.

In addition to leading activities in the region for Burns Bros, Pat provides project focus on customer projects, including NYS Dormitory Authority (DASNY), NYS Office of General Services (OGS), and SUNY State University Construction Fund (SUCF).

Certifications: Pat was previously a journeyman pipefitter from Local 73.  He holds Type I, II, and Universal Refrigeration licenses and is also certified to do factory start-ups on various boilers, air conditioning, and pump systems.
